Mobilizing Microfinance for Local Resilience and Jobs

Over the next decade, 1.2 billion people in developing countries will enter the labor market—many in sectors that are sensitive to climate change. Microfinance—designed with communities and scaled through national policies—provides a path to resilient jobs and livelihoods.

The Global Microfinance Initiative is setting out to scale access to climate-sensitive and nature-positive microfinance in the places where it is needed most.
