Connect4Impact: The World Bank Group's Digital Collaboration Platform
Connect4Impact is a digital collaboration platform hosted by the World Bank Group to support communities of practice working to accelerate solutions to the world’s most pressing development challenges. It enables development practitioners, policymakers, and partners to connect, collaborate, and learn from each other in a trusted and inclusive space.
Built on the Open Social platform, Connect4Impact provides a flexible environment where communities can share knowledge, co-create solutions, host events, access curated resources, and engage in meaningful peer learning, across sectors, regions, and institutions. The platform supports multilingual content and is designed to be user-friendly, mobile-responsive, and tailored to the needs of community members and managers.
Strategic Context
Connect4Impact is jointly hosted by the World Bank Group’s Knowledge Engagement and Learning Department and the Information and Technology Solutions (ITS) unit. The platform supports cross-institutional collaboration and co-creation which is a core component of the Knowledge Compact for Action, the World Bank’s corporate strategy to transform ideas into development impact and deliver on its mission of ending poverty on a livable planet.
Through Connect4Impact, we aim to amplify the World Bank Group’s ability to learn from practice, scale what works, and partner more effectively to tackle the most complex development challenges.
