Your Chance to go to Bangkok!

The International Water Association (IWA) and the New International Benchmarking Network (NewIBNET) of the World Bank invite water and sanitation utilities, associations, and regulators worldwide to participate in the call for data on their performance and management to receive, in return, benchmarking services and networking opportunities.

This way you can become a NewIBNET Data Pioneer at your organization with a chance to receive a full Congress Package (incl. accommodation, travel & conference fees) for the IWA Water and Development Congress & Exhibition, in Bangkok, Thailand!

PLEASE READ THE PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES linked here below to learn how to participate as an association, regulator or utility staff member!

Some of the NewIBNET Data Pioneers  will get the opportunity to learn at the IWA Water and Development Congress and Exhibition in Bangkok, Thailand, this December.

By submitting utilities’ performance and management data - or mobilizing them to do so - you afford yourself a chance to be selected as a Data Pioneer receiving a complete conference package, including travel, accommodation and fees.

"This partnership with IWA is a unique opportunity to recognize those utilities who commit to not only assess their performance and management, but also want to learn from data and take decisions based on their own evidence. It opens the chance to join vibrant learning exchanges and to build new relationships at this unmatched global knowledge sharing event in the sector, the Water Development Congress 2025 in Bangkok!" This is a great opportunity for women working in water and sanitation utilities to become Data Focal Points, and build expertise in data-driven decision processes. Backed by data, women can play a crucial role in improving their utilities services and making their voices heard.

Having women in important positions in utilities means that utilities can better reach and serve the needs of 50% of their potential beneficiaries.”, Talajeh Livani, Social Development Specialist and Equal Aqua Task Team Leader, World Bank
