The World Economic Forum's latest Global Gender Gap Index shows that gender gaps have narrowed to 68.8%, but full parity remains 123 years away at the current pace of progress. Now in its 19th edition, the report draws on nearly two decades of data and includes time series for the 100 countries consistently tracked since 2006. It highlights the policies that have proven most effective in closing gender gaps and emphasizes that countries successfully leveraging talent and human capital are best positioned to accelerate productivity and drive prosperity.
